How to Get Custom Wedding Invitations in Boston

Are you living in Boston and planning a wedding? Or do you live outside of the city but are planning to get married in this charming little corner of New England? Boston has been my home for over 15 years, and there are a number of beautiful venues for a wedding ceremony here: the elegant Boston Public Library at Copley Square, the fairytale grounds at the New England Botanic Garden, or any of the metropolitan hotels with a stunning skyline view. Once you’ve selected your venue, you can begin to think about all of the fun details for the big day. One of the most important pieces will be your wedding invitations! As a Boston-based artist and wedding stationer, I can help to design, package, and mail save-the-dates and invitations!

1) Tell me about your wedding aesthetic, theme, or vision for the big day

Approximately 6-8 months before your wedding day, you’ll want to reach out to me for a design consultation. Do you want a watercolor painting of the Boston Public Garden swan boats, or maybe a bold print with the iconic Citgo sign? I’ll work with you to create a few design boards to bring your vision to life!

2) Review design proofs and give me your feedback

I’ll take your ideas and visions and begin to craft your own, unique wedding stationery and wedding invitations. Don’t be afraid to dream big - I’ve created stationery with manatees, any type of flower you can imagine, and I even included my own beloved golden retriever dog on my wedding invitations! You’ll have a chance to give me your feedback to ensure that the stationery is exactly what you want.

Your wedding stationery can include anything that is important to your and your partner - from your pets to specific flowers!

3) Printing your wedding invitations and finishing touches

Once you are 4 months away from your wedding day, your wedding invitations will be sent for printing (it starts to feel real!). I’ll ensure that the quality is top notch, and we can decide if there are any finishing touches that you want to include: wax seals, vellum wraps, and ribbon can all elevate your stationery to give it a more polished look!

4) Focus on your other wedding details, and leave the mailing to me!

As a full-service studio, I am available to assemble, stamp, and mail all of your invitations so that you can focus on the other exciting wedding details (like cake tasting).
